Mayor clears Bike Lane with a Tank

Ever wished that actions had consequences or dreamed of a world where cars couldn’t park in the bike lane without being crushed by a tank, Truckosaurus-style?
If so, Arturas Zuokas, the mayor of Vilnius, Lithuania, might just be your new hero. Zuokas, an avid cyclist, decided to make an example of one such lane-clogging Mercedes Benz by crushing it with an army troop carrier. What followed should be deeply fulfilling to any cyclist who’s fantasized about exacting sweet demolition-derby revenge on a high-end parked obstacle.
“I’ve had enough of these drivers parking their cars on bike lanes and pedestrian crossings,” Zuokas told the media. “This tank is a good tool to solve the problem of parking in the wrong place.”
